The author Christopher Peal is the present Hon.Sec. (and a Past President) of The Pewter Society (Great Britain) and is one of the foremost collectors and connoisseurs of today.The book sets the background of British pewter through the centuries, and with a new, brisk approach, the subject is presented in great detail.
